The summer transfer window is already here, and Arsenal won’t want to waste any time in their bid to improve.
Mikel Arteta and Edu will already have locked in their potential targets ahead of this summer, and they can now set about getting those deals over the line as they look to close the gap to Manchester City next season. The Gunners are likely to have a sizable budget this summer, and there should be some exciting signings on the horizon.

Cancelo latest
Arsenal may find it difficult to land reported target Joao Cancelo this summer, according to journalist Harry Symeou.
“I really do think that Arsenal want to do this deal, I really, really do,” said Symeou.
“Whether they’ll be able to do it or not remains to be seen, because I think financially this is quite a difficult one to do. We know that there was an option-to-buy available for Bayern at around about €60 [£51m] and we know that Bayern don’t want to take that up. This suggests that Manchester City are of the belief that the player is worth money and he absolutely is.

Havertz links
Arsenal are said to be discussing the possibility of signing Chelsea star Kai Havertz.
According to Charles Watts, who says the German may be an option for the Gunners as they look to sign a versatile forward. Havertz has been linked with a Chelsea exit this summer, and he could be available for around £60million.
Real Madrid and others have been linked, while Watts claims Arsenal may hold a genuine interest in the Champions League winner.
