Arsenal will be back in action at the Emirates on Sunday, taking on Aston Villa just five days after fighting back to secure a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg. The Gunners currently sit top of the Premier League following their 3-0 win over Brighton and Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Manchester United and Mikel Arteta will hope for a further three points on Sunday in the hopes of strengthening their position at the top of the table.
Contrary to their situation at this point in the season in 2022/23, Arteta has very few injury concerns heading into the final push of the 2023/24 season but the same cannot be said for Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
