Arsenal transfer rumours rated as Dusan Vlahovic, Nico Williams, Marcus Rashford and others linked
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Arsenal have already been linked with a number of attackers as they scan the market for possible recruitment this month. The Gunners have lost Bukayo Saka to injury for at least two months, and the need for another striker was clear before losing more depth out wide.
Arteta must now consider whether to sign a striker, a winger, both or a player that can do both. A number of players have already been linked, and here we rate each attacking transfer rumour out of five. Take a look below.

Muani has been linked with Arsenal after a tricky spell with PSG. The forward could have been an ideal option on loan given his versatility, but it looks as though he is headed to Tottenham, while Arsenal’s interest has not materialised.

Viktor Gyokeres
Gyokeres is a dream option for many clubs currently, but he does not seem to be accessible. The free-scoring Sporting CP striker is set to cost upwards of £70million, and Arsenal don’t appear ready to spend that this winter. A summer deal? Who knows. But Gyokeres does not appear realistic in January.

Marcus Rashford
Rashford has emerged as a possible option, and in some ways, he feels like the kind of player Arteta would try to rehabilitate, much like the Raheem Sterling situation. AC Milan look to be on course to land the Manchester United winger, though, and the Red Devils may well be resistant to a Premier League deal.

Bryan Mbuemo
The Brentford striker has been flying this season, scoring 13 Premier League goals to place himself among the top scorers in the league. It’s reported it would take between £40million and £50million to strike a deal with Brentford. This feels more like a summer possibility, but Mbuemo is still likely more of interest than the previous names on this list given the affordability aspect.

It would be a miracle for Arsenal to sign Isak, given his importance to Newcastle United and their current trajectory, looking like a Champions League qualification contender. The Magpies would demand an eye-watering fee to sell Isak, and especially to a Premier League rival. A dreamland transfer.

Dusan Vlahovic
Vlahovic has done well overall with Juventus, but he has still constantly been linked with a move away. Every time Juve fancy signing someone, the striker is mooted as the financial makeweight, and you wonder how long he will be happy putting up with exit rumours, clearly not having full backing from the club. The striker could be available for £60million and he is still only 24 years of age. He is also a player Arteta is likely to be fond of given his ability to play link-up football. Vlahovic is arguably the most realistic option.
Rating - 4/5
Nico Williams
Arteta will love Williams, make no mistake, he is exactly the type of winger he looks for. The problem is that, despite a £50million release clause, Williams has told Athletic Club he will stay until the end of the season, and he is going to keep his word. That means a summer deal is the best option, but Barca appear to be eyeing a deal as well. With a need for another top-level winger, Williams is a likely option for the Gunners, but this one gets a lower rating because of the fact it will almost certainly be a summer pursuit, and even then they will have to battle against the issue of Williams potentially wanting to remain in Spain.
