Arsenal have been one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League this summer and the signings of Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz and David Raya leave the club in a strong position to challenge for the league title once again.

In recent weeks the focus has been dominated by outgoings with Folarin Balogun leaving the Emirates for a club-record sale in the region of £38m and Kieran Tierney moving to Real Sociedad on loan. But there are still a number of twist and turns that could occur in the final days of the transfer window with two senior players being linked with moves away, while player sales could free up funds for one last signing.

With that in mind we have rounded up all of the latest transfer news surrounding Arsenal with transfer deadline day on the horizon.

Gabriel Magalhaes drops hint over his Arsenal future

Gabriel Magalhaes was a key member of the Arsenal team which missed out on the Premier League title last season and he formed a formidable defensive partnership with William Saliba last season.

However, the Brazilian defender has been a substitute in all of his sides opening three games with Ben White being preferred in the centre back role.

This has prompted speculation of a potential transfer to the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and even Saudi side Al-Ittihad, according to Football.London.

But the defender has eased Arsenal’s concerns with a post on Instagram. In the picture he is seen wearing an Arsenal shirt with the caption “ready to start a new chapter” which suggests he is focused on the season ahead in North London.

England youngster considers future at Emirates Stadium

Emile Smith-Rowe was described as a future Arsenal captain on the Amazon documentary as he enjoyed a sensational breakthrough campaign in 2021/22.

But the midfielder has struggled to consolidate his place in the starting line-up in recent years and is yet to play a minute in the Premier League this season.

This has led to rumours of a move away from Arsenal as he looks to rejuvenate his England hopes for Euro 2024.

According to The Express, London rivals Chelsea are one of the potential candidates to sign the player and rumours suggest that a swap deal involving either Mykhailo Mudryk and Trevoh Chalobah could be on the cards.

Arsenal were heavily linked with Mudryk during the January transfer window and Arteta is believed to be a fan of the Ukrainian international.

Edu identifies late £30m target

Arsenal were handed a huge blow at the start of the season when new recruit Jurrien Timber suffered an ACL injury on his Premier League debut. This leaves the Gunners short on options in the defensive areas and the North London giants are likely to be in the market for a fullback to add further squad depth.

Ex-Manchester City defender Eric Garcia was initially linked with a loan move from Barcelona, according to Football.London.

But claims from Danish outlet Tipsbladet now suggest that Benfica fullback Alexander Bah could be a target. Bah is valued at around £30m and he was a first team regular in the team which won the Portuguese title last term. He has also been capped on nine occasions for Denmark’s senior team, scoring one goal in the process.
