Arsenal are back in action on Thursday night when they turn their attention to European action. The Gunners face Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night, and they will be looking to continue their impressive form of late.

Mikel Arteta’s men passed a big test over the weekend when they saw off Liverpool, and Leeds United await this weekend. European business must be taken care of first, though, and on a daunting artificial pitch, no less.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Gunners.

Rodriguez links

Arsenal are being linked with a fresh move for Real Betis star Guido Rodriguez.

The Gunners were linked with Rodriguez some time ago, in 2021, but they saw their offer rejected swiftly. The midfielder is out of contract in 2024, though, and there could be a fresh opportunity for Arsenal.

In fact, according to Fichajes, Betis are concerned Arsenal will make another offer as the Gunners search for midfield reinforcements.

Betis are said to want upwards of £26million to sell the midfielder, who is a key part of Manuel Pelligrini’s plans. Arsenal could do with more depth in the middle, and especially when it comes to defensive midfielders.

Gakpo wants Arsenal

Arsenal are now said to be getting involved in the race to sign PSV star Cody Gakpo.

Gakpo has been linked with the likes of Leeds United and Southampton, but The Athletic now say the Dutchman wants a bigger club.

It’s claimed Arsenal and Manchester United could be potential options, and Gakpo only seems to be getting better. The Dutch winger has already rejected a move to Leeds, so this one might just stand up.

The question is whether Arsenal do actually want to make a move for Gakpo amid good form from their wingers this season.
