Arsenal will be hard at work on transfer deadline day as they look to wrap up any remaining deals. The Gunners have not been too busy this summer, but they have still managed to spend a significant amount of cash through the signings of David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino.
Another signing or two could arrive before the window slams shut at 11pm on Friday night, while there could also be a number of outgoings as Mikel Arteta looks to trim his squad. As deadline day unravels, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are said to have held late talks with Brentford striker Ivan Toney in a bid to solve their possible striker problem. The Gunners were not perceived to have enough depth at the top end of the pitch last season, and an early injury suffered by Gabriel Jesus this summer has raised fresh questions.
Toney could be available ahead of the deadline, with the striker wanting to make a step up, while reports have claimed that Brentford are now only asking for just £35million despite a previous asking price of more than £50million. That has been reported by Sky Sports today. According to TeamTalk, Arsenal have opened talks with Toney’s agent in a bid to see if a deal can be done before the window slams shut with interest also arriving from Saudi Arabia.
Coman considered
Arsenal are still being linked with a move for Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman, who is being linked with a loan move away from the Allianz Arena. According to Fichajes, Coman is being considered by the Gunners as they weigh up either a deal for a striker or a winger.
Bayern are said to want £32million for Coman, but a loan deal is more likely given the proximity to the deadline. The concern for Arsenal is reportedly Coman’s injury record with the 28-year-old having missed 22 games last season.

Arsenal are also said to have been offered Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling as they look to potentially add a winger. ESPN say the Gunners are one of the clubs Sterling has been offered to as the player’s agent looks to get him out of Stamford Bridge before the deadline.
Manchester United are said to be pushing to land the England international, but they are still yet to agree a deal with Chelsea. It’s unclear how much Chelsea will ask for Sterling, but the winger is said to earn as much as £325,000 per week. It’s likely Sterling will have to take a pay cut wherever he goes.
