Arsenal are set to miss out on a £50 million Premier League defender - they have also named their price for an outcasted player in the squad.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, teams in England are working feverishly to outline their recruitment priorities - and Arsenal are no expection. Who will they look to bring in and who will they offload in the winter?

Sadly, the Gunners are set to miss out on a Premier League defender who has won several caps for England in this particular window. Additionally, they have set an asking price for a player who has seen his playing time be drastically reduced in the ongoing campaign.

Marc Guehi 'does not' want to join Arsenal in January

Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi is a transfer target for Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal - but he will not leave Selhurst Park until the summer, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

Guehi is valued at £60 million by Crystal Palace. It's unlikely he will leave the club for anything less than this, especially as he continues to impress on the international stage for England. As things stand, it's unclear which club is his preferred destination.

Arsenal name transfer price for Aaron Ramsdale

After playing every minute in the 2022/23 season for Arsenal, Aaron Ramsdale has largely played second fiddle to David Raya in the 2023/24 campaign. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the Gunners let him go - but any club who wishes to snap him up must pay a fee of £50 million, says FootballTransfers.

Currently, the Gunners have yet to receive an official offer for the former Sheffield United shot-stopper - additionally, they are not looking to sell him, but will let him go if the price is right. He has previously been linked with a cross-London move to bitter rivals Chelsea, but the Blues have not made an approach for Ramsdale's services as of yet. This could all change when the window opens, of course.
