Arteta himself has spoken about the atmosphere around London Colney and how it’s important that they continue to maintain standards as they look to put up a Premier League title challenge.
The priority though this January is to try and get a midfielder who can fill the void if Thomas is injured as there are concerns that the squad is a little light weight.
According to FootballLondon, the Gunners have jumped ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race to secure the signature of Jude Bellingham.
