Arsenal to break the bank for £150m star who is transfer target for Real Madrid and Liverpool

Arsenal is looking at at the biggest star in German football to help build on the team’s recent success on the field.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is set to be rewarded for a strong start to the season with a backing from the board that will allow him to sign £150m rated England midfielder Jude Bellingham in the summer according to a report on Football London.

The Gunners have had a storming start to the campaign, winning 12 of their opening 14 Premier League matches and leading Manchester City by five points at the time of breaking for the World Cup.

They have also played some of the best football in the league and players like Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey have played a key role in their excellence.

Arteta himself has spoken about the atmosphere around London Colney and how it’s important that they continue to maintain standards as they look to put up a Premier League title challenge.

The priority though this January is to try and get a midfielder who can fill the void if Thomas is injured as there are concerns that the squad is a little light weight.

According to FootballLondon, the Gunners have jumped ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race to secure the signature of Jude Bellingham.

Real Madrid are quite keen admirers of the breakout English star but it will be interesting to see if they make a move for him after the World Cup or wait till the summer. Jude is concentrating on the World Cup in Qatar and will hope that he excels with the Three Lions.
