Arsenal have emerged as bookies’ favourites to land four new signings this summer, including a trio of Premier League talents.

The Gunners stumbled in the latter stages of their bid for Champions Leaguefootball this season, and despite a dominant 5-1 win over Everton on the final day of the campaign, had to settle for a fifth-placed finish behind bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

But while the disappointment of missing out on a spot at Europe’s top table is likely to smart, Mikel Arteta and his side can ill-afford to wallow in their misfortune for too long.

Instead, it is widely expected that Arsenal will use the upcoming summer transfer window to continue their rebuild under the Spaniard, and bookmakers are already backing them to sign off on a number of high-profile deals.

Chief among them is a swoop for Manchester City’s Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus.

It’s generally accepted that the Gunners will look to bring in a new striker in the coming months, and at a price of 2/5, they are strong favourites to secure the South American’s services. Their nearest rivals in the race for the 25-year-old are Tottenham at a relatively distant 6/1.

Jesus is not the only City player being linked with a move to the Emirates, however.

Raheem Sterling’s future in Manchester has long been the subject of widespread speculation, and the England international continues to be touted for an exit this summer.

While notably longer than the odds on a move for Jesus, Arsenal’s current price of 9/1 does make them favourites to sign the versatile forward.

Again, Tottenham are their closest competitors at 10/1, with Barcelona and Real Madrid at 12/1 and 14/1 respectively.

Another Premier League talent the Gunners are said to be leading the charge for is Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The impressive Belgian has, much like Sterling, been widely linked with a big money move this summer, and while competition for an agreement with the Foxes is likely to be fierce, a price of 6/4 looks relatively promising.

Chasing Arsenal are Manchester United at 4/1, Manchester City and Liverpool, both at 7/1, and Tottenham at 10/1.

Away from the English top flight, the Gunners are also being touted for a potential deal involving Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

The well-regarded Austrian only signed for the Bundesliga giants last year, but is already being linked with an exit, and could end up in north London, if the bookies are to be believed.

Arsenal are currently at odds of 4/1 to snap him up, with Atletico Madrid also coming in at that price.

Newly-moneyed Newcastle United are the nearest club behind those two, at a fairly lengthy 9/1.
