Arsenal reject Fulham bid as Man Utd 'prepare fresh offer' for pricey target

The Premier League season is drawing closer, and with Euro 2024 and Copa América coming to a close, we are likely to see a surge in transfer activity across the league. We have already seen plenty of deals become official, but as is often the case in summers with international tournaments, it has been a pretty slow start to the window.
But Premier League clubs will not be stopped from spending money, and you can bet your bottom dollar there will still be a huge spending total by the time the summer comes to an end. In the meantime, we have rounded up the latest rumours from around the division.

Hide AdSmith Rowe bid rejected
Fulham are said to have seen a bid rejected in their bid to land Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe. According to The Standard, the Gunners have not deemed the offer good enough despite being willing to sell Smith Rowe this summer.
It’s unclear how much the Cottagers offered, but previous reports have claimed that Arsenal want at least £25million for the attacking midfielder. But with the Gunners willing to sell, it’s likely only a case of coming to an agreement over the fee, with the player also reportedly wanting regular first team football.
Branthwaite latest
Manchester United are reportedly set to make a third bid to land Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite. According to according to Dharmesh Sheth, the Red Devils are pushing to sign the 22-year-old, but business elsewhere won’t help their case.
Everton are selling Amadou Onana to Aston Villa for £50million, taking the pressure off when it comes to selling other key players. That will make Branthwaite a tough transfer to pull off, and a pricey one no less. Reports claim the Toffees want £70million this summer.

Spurs still eyeing Ramsey
Tottenham could still make a move for Jacob Ramsey this summer as they look to add more creativity. That’s according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who told GiveMeSport: “Tottenham are still exploring whether Ramsey might be possible, but Villa don't want to lose him, so they're either going to have to pay big money for him, with or without Lo Celso, or they're going to have to move on.
“And it may be that there are other players that they have a stronger chance of successfully getting, including Wolves' Pedro Neto, Leipzig’s Lois Openda, and in a slightly different position, Lille’s Jonathan David.”
