Midfielder linked

Arsenal are being linked with a summer swoop for Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, who is currently on loan at Juventus and has been for the past couple of years. According to Italian news outlet CalcioMercato, the Gunners have an offer ‘ready’ for him already for the end of this season. The Italy international, who is 25-years-old, has made 25 appearances in all competitions so far this term, 18 of which have come in Serie A.

Attacker remains on radar

Borussia Mönchengladbach winger Marcus Thuram remains on Arsenal’s radar along with La Liga giants Barcelona, according to a report by Sport. The Frenchman is out of contract when this current campaign finishes and he is due to become a free agent at the end of June as things stand as he hasn’t penned a new deal.

He was at the World Cup earlier this winter and helped France reach the final. His future in the Bundesliga is up in the air at the moment and he doesn’t appear to be short of suitors. He has scored 10 league goals in 18 matches this term.
