Arsenal are said to be interested in the Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson. However, they are far from the only club linked with a potential move for the 20-year-old with Liverpool and several other ‘top clubs in England and elsewhere in Europe’ credited with an interest.

Most recently, however, sources from Caught Offside and Fabrizio Romano have ‘confirmed’ that there is strong interest in the talented Bundesliga star and while no other clubs, other than the aforementioned Premier League giants were mentioned, nothing is set to happen on this deal until at least summer 2025.
Speaking on his Daily Briefing column, the Italian transfer specialist said: “Hugo Larsson has been linked with a move away from Eintracht Frankfurt, and although it could happen in summer 2025, it’s not clear or definite yet.

Swedish midfielder Larsson has been with Frankfurt since 2023, leaving his youth club Malmo FF. He has gone on to make 33 league appearances for the German side, scoring four goals, and has six international appearances to his name.
While there appears no immediate rush to sign a new midfielder in January, the Gunners would do well to keep firmly in the race for a new, young midfielder with Jorginho and Thomas Partey both over 30 and out of contract at the Emirates next summer.
