Arsenal scraped their second three points of the Premier League season on Monday night after edging out Crystal Palace in a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park. After a Martin Ødegaard penalty, the Gunners managed to escape with a win to remain unbeaten, despite a late surge of pressure from the Eagles in their fight back.
Mikel Arteta’s side were also handed a blow when they were reduced to ten men following Takehiro Tomiyasu’s sending off. The defender collected two yellow cards in the space of seven minutes in the second half, the first coming due to time wasting.
