Arsenal closed the gap between themselves and Premier League leaders Liverpool to just two points with another scintillating performance. Mikel Arteta's men delivered a 4-1 thumping to Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night.
The Gunners were lightning quick out the block with trademark intensity on full show under the floodlights. It took just 18 minutes for the ball to hit the back of the net after a trademark Gabriel leap from a set play bounced past Loris Karius via Sven Botman. Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka added to the score either side of half time before Jakub Kiwor headed home the fourth - although Arsenal's final of the night may also go down as an own goal.

1. David Raya - 7
Relatively quiet night for the goalkeeper but swept up well when needed and was calm when dealing with Miguel Almiron one-on-one.
2. Jakub Kiwor - 8
Looked at ease at left back. His biggest test was Kieran Trippier on the overlap but never daunted him. Coasted to the front post to nod home his goal from a corner - although it'll go down as an own goal.
3. William Saliba - 7
Another strong showing from the centre-back. A reliable fixture in the squad.
4. Gabriel - 8
Very up for it tonight and leapt brilliantly again to take the shot that led to the Arsenal opener. A little suspect for the Newcastle consolation.
