Arsenal have drawn 1-1 away at Southampton. The Gunners looked on their way to another win when they led 1-0 at half-time thanks to Granit Xhaka’s goal.
However, the Saints fought back in the second-half and levelled through midfielder Stuart Armstrong. Mikel Arteta’s side weren’t able to find a winner after that and are returning to the Emirates Stadium this evening with just a point.
It has been an impressive start to the season for the London club and they have only been beaten once in their opening 11 games, winning nine of them. They remain two points above Manchester City in the table but will be frustrated that they weren’t able to pick up another victory today.
Arsenal are back in action on Thursday in the Europa League away at PSV before they take on Nottingham Forest at home next Sunday. Here is a look at their player ratings against Southampton...
