Arsenal strengthened their position as Premier League leaders at the weekend after a narrow victory at Elland Road coupled with a favourable result in the main event of Super Sunday.

Mike Arteta’s side are now four points clear at the top of the table having beaten Leeds United 1-0 in Yorkshire courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s 35th minute goal before Liverpool were able to hand Manchester City their first defeat of the season at Anfield. Meanwhile, there is still plenty going on away from the action on the pitch as the January transfer window edges closer and closer.
