Former Manchester City left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has made quite an impact since swapping Manchester for London and is leading the title challenge from the dressing room to the pitch.

Zinchenko gave a defiant message when the going got tough against Manchester United and has revealed he has told the team to forget about challenging for top four and focus on going all the way for the Premier League title.

Manchester United had looked the real deal a few weeks ago but Arsenal’s win saw them fall 11 points behind the league leaders, who have played a game less.

The manner in which Arsenal snatched all three points against Manchester United will give the team confidence going into the crucial month of February.

Zinchenko, who won multiple league titles at Manchester City, said his current teammates “don’t care” about City and just want to get the business done.

He told reporters: “No, honestly, we don’t care about City or any other team.

“We expected them to win [against Wolves], so that was not a big surprise, and we just focused on our game, to win — and that’s what we did. The way we won this game gives us a special feeling that will help as well.”

Last season the Gunners would have been disappointed by the fact that they lost out on Champions League football to Tottenham at the last minute, but the way they turned things around and have gone after the tile is a show of how far they have come under Mikel Arteta.
