Arsenal are thought to be long term admirers of the Brazilian and it appears he could be searching for a new club with relegation looming for the Toffees.

Richarlison and his team have endured a particularly tricky season and it has been reported that the forward is keen on a new challenge to give himself the best possible of chance of making the Qatar World Cup later this year.

The 24-year-old cost Everton £50 million almost four years ago and still has two years remaining on his contract, though Arsenal are likely to have to pay significantly less than that - especially if they are relegated.

With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both set to leave North London at the end of the season, Arsenal will have to act fast in snapping up some attacking reinforcements.

If they are to sign Richarlison then they will have to recapture his previous form for the Toffees, having only reached double figures in the Premier League in his first two seasons with the club.

However, the former Watford star certainly won’t be short of help with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard around him.
