Arsenal new boy Jakub Kiwior has reportedly already broken records at the club just weeks after arriving at Emirates Stadium.

The 22-year-old became Arsenal's second January signing after following Leandro Trossard through the door.

Poland international Kiwior started every game for his country at the World Cup in Qatar and was signed to provide competition for Gabriel on the left side of central defence.

Reports have now emerged that the defender has broken several records at London Colney including the fastest short sprint, highest agility jump and standing spring record.

Bukayo Saka has previously been noted as the most effective high speed runner in Arteta's first team, with Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin also featuring on the list in previous years.

Former defender Bellerin broke Theo Walcott’s 40-metre sprint record by 1/100th in 2015, running 40 metres in 4.41 seconds.

Kiwior can play at centre back or in midfield and LondonWorld understands that he has already impressed his teammates and coaching staff at London Colney.

Speaking to Meczyki, Kiwior’s agent, Pawel Zimonczyk, said:

“The thing that captured me was the openness of the people who work at Arsenal. You can see that they form one big family there. I think they welcomed Kuba in from the first minute.”

“Kuba’s entrance into the dressing room wasn’t planned, but as soon as Zinchenko saw him he called out: ‘If you’re already with us, you’re already with us!’

“I’m sure it was a cool experience for him too, after such an important win he could feel the atmosphere from the Premier League leaders’ dressing room. I think when he saw what kind of atmosphere there was he already wanted to join in on the pitch, to enjoy Arsenal’s push to reach the next round of the FA Cup [against Manchester City on Friday night].”
