Arsenal a 'hot option' for 11-goal striker

Arsenal have been linked with Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and a new report has claimed they are now a 'hot option' for the Dutchman to consider. According to Calciomercato, the 22-year-old has been AC Milan's 'main objective for months' but he is also on the radar of 'several Premier League clubs', with Arsenal being one of them.

Zirkzee is really starting to put himself on the map, having contributed 11 goals and six assists across all competitions this season. He also enjoyed a blistering loan spell with Anderlecht during the 2021/22 season, where he notched 18 goals and 13 assists.

A previous report from JuveLive back in February claimed that Arsenal were in an 'advantageous position' to sign Zirkzee, who is valued between €45-50 million (£38-42m).

Gunners 'willing to sell' £21m-rated star

Despite being 'desperate' to remain at the Emirates for the foreseeable future, Arsenal are 'willing to sell' Emile Smith Rowe if a 'suitable offer' arrives, according to GiveMeSport. The midfielder has been pushing to become a fist team regular for many years now and even though he did enjoy a lot of time in the starting team during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, he has since slipped back down the pecking order.

Smith Rowe has been limited to just 228 minutes in the Premier League this season and his time with Arsenal could be coming to an end. The report claims that the Gunners are confident they can demand 'decent money' for the 23-year-old, especially amid recent interest from West Ham and Aston Villa.

The club are not actively looking to offload Smith Rowe at the end of the season but he has been viewed as a 'sellable asset' for a potential summer overhaul. He is currently valued at €25 million (£21m) by Transfermarkt.
