Arsenal match postponed after team bus arrives in wrong town

The Gunners’ youngsters will not play Brighton today after the team bus arrived at the wrong stadium.

Arsenal U18s’ match against Brighton & Hove Albion today faced an unexpected delay when their team coach mistakenly arrived in Bournemouth instead of Brighton.

Originally scheduled to commence at 12:00 GMT, the match was subject to a 30-minute delay before ultimately being called off. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

As reported by Arsenal Youth, the Gunners squad found themselves in Bournemouth, a location 95 miles away from Brighton, equating to a 2-hour and 21-minute drive.

Arsenal Under-18 boss are unbeaten in their last three games and now face Norwich City at home next Saturday.

Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids recently interviewed under-18’s coach Jack Wilshere, who led the Gunners to the FA Youth Cup final in his first season in charge.
