Left-back in talks over exit

Defender Nuno Tavares could be leaving for a new chapter in Italy, reports claim.

The left-back has struggled to make an impact since making the switch to the Premier League last year and has slipped down the pecking order now behind new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko.

According to a report by the Evening Standard, Arsenal are in ‘discussions’ with Serie A side Atalanta about a loan, Marseille and Real Sociedad also said to be keen.
