Arsenal are tipped to battle it out with three of Europe’s biggest clubs over the signing of Jamal Musiala.
Despite being only just 21-years-old, Musiala is one of the hottest prospects in European football after bagging 20 goal contributions last campaign. He is one of Germany’s most influential stars at the moment and finished the Euros 2024 competition as the joint-top scorer.

The report continues by saying that the Premier League duo are both ‘looking to sign’ Musiala in 2025 but that Manchester City ‘appear to be leading the race’ as they would view him as a potential successor to Kevin de Bruyne who turns 34 next summer.
As for the Gunners, he could form an exceptionally high-powered midfield three if the Emirates utilised him as a left-sided number 8 along with Declan Rice in a holding position and captain Martin Odegaard on the right. It is not yet known how much a transfer for Musiala could cost but TransferMarkt currently value the German international at a whopping £109.7m.
The report does confirm, however, that Bayern are not looking to sell their star and will fight ‘tooth and nail’ to keep the player who has been predicted to be the next Thomas Muller for the club. As quoted by Sky Germany, the club’s president Herbert Hainer said: “Of course we want to try everything to keep him for the long term. In my opinion, he could easily become the second Thomas Muller at Bayern and play here for the next 20 years.”

He should become a face of FC Bayern in the future. His journey at FC Bayern is far from over. He wants to win titles, and this is exactly what we want too.”
Italian transfer specialist Fabrizo Romano also added to the extension talks by posting: “Another top German talent to watch remains Jamal Musiala, with Bayern speaking publicly about wanting him to sign a new contract and stay with the club for the long term.
“For now, however, no decision has been made, it’s a negotiation. Nothing has changed for now, there have been no significant developments. Of course Bayern are confident, they want Musiala to stay and his contact is a really important topic for the board, they simply can’t fail on this mission. Negotiations are ongoing, but it’s too early to say how it will finish.”
