In today's iteration of Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners are thought to be in the hunt for a highly-rated La Liga defender. He isn't their top target, though - and he is also in the crosshairs of other massive clubs in Europe.
Also, an outspoken pundit has called upon an Arsenal player, whose playing time has fallen in 2023/24, to leave the club in January. He also named some potential suitors - one of whom are one of the Gunners' greatest rivals.

Arsenal 'appreciate' Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and could look to make a move for him, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano on YouTube. However, they aren't alone - he has also been linked with a move to La Liga champions Barcelona.
On the potential move, Romano mused: "Martin Zubimendi is in love with Real Sociedad as a club. He really feels the value of the club, the shirt, the history of the club.
"And so the idea of Zubimendi has always been to stay at Real Sociedad, despite the interest of many clubs in recent years, including Arsenal, including Barcelona. I think for January [a move] is going to be difficult. Let's see what Arsenal do in January."
Gabby Agbonlahor backs Aaron Ramsdale to leave in January
Aaron Ramsdale has become the deputy to David Raya at Arsenal in recent months. Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has backed him to leave the club for this reason - citing Newcastle United and Chelsea as potential suitors for the Ex-Sheffield United and Bournemouth man.

"Every Premier League club near the top has got a goalkeeper who can play out from the back, you know? And Pope can't. And that's the reason, maybe, he's going to miss out on going to the Euros with England."
