Former midfielder back on radar

Arsenal are reportedly attempting to bring Ismael Bennacer back to the Emirates Stadium from AC Milan.

According to Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato Web, the club have made an ‘offer’ of £34million.

The Algeria international played for the Gunners from 2015 to 2017 but only made one senior appearance before heading out the exit door.

Brazilian linked

Having already brought in Gabriel Jesus and Marquinhos, Arteta’s side are being linked with yet another Brazilian in Lucas Paqueta.

The midfielder, formerly of Flamengo and AC Milan, currently plays in France for Lyon.

Media Foot claim Arsenal are interested in bringing him to London to further bolster their options.

Return of a familiar face

Former Arsenal favourite Jack Wilshere has today announced his retirement from the game and the Evening Standard claim he is set to return as U18s manager.

The club has a vacancy to fill following Dan Micciche’s switch to Crawley Town.

Wilshere made 197 appearances for the London outfit before spells at West Ham United, Bournemouth and most recently AGF in Denmark.
