Arsenal close in on Jorginho after Brighton make Caicedo decision
Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Jorginho from Chelsea with the Blues granting him permission to finalise a move to Emirates Stadium, LondonWorld understands.
The 31-year-old is expected to come in and bolster Arsenal’s midfield options with Mohamed Elneny currently sidelined with a knee injury.

Hide AdA fee in the region of £12million has been agreed for a contract until the summer of 2024 and there will be an option included to extend the deal by an extra year.
It means the pursuit of Moises Caicedo will likely come to an end following Brighton’s adamance that the Ecuador midfielder is not for sale.

Brighton rejected two bids from Arsenal for Caicedo with the latest totalling £65million plus £5million in add-ons, but the Seagulls reaffirmed that the 21 year old will be going nowhere in January.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are in talks with Arsenal over a loan move for Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Hide AdLokonga has featured 15 times for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, but only six of those have been starts.
The Gunners will allow Lokonga to find regular game time once Jorginho’s move to the club is finalised.
