Right-back wanted

Arsenal are ‘interested’ in Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries, according to a report by Fichajes. The London club are apparently eager to lure the Holland international to the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season, with Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu currently being used in his position.

Dumfries, 26, has been playing in Serie A since 2021 and has made 71 appearances in all competitions to date, chipping in with seven goals. Prior to his move to Italy, he had spells at Sparta Rotterdam, SC Heerenveen and PSV.

Surprise transfer list

Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford is being linked with a surprise switch to Arsenal this summer. Football Insider say the Gunners are ‘monitoring’ his contract situation at Old Trafford.

The England forward has been in fine form under Erik ten Hag this term and has scored 21 goals in 34 outings. He has been on the books of the Red Devils for his whole career to date but is facing an uncertain long-term future at this moment in time. His current deal in the summer of 2024 and he is yet to put pen-to-paper on an extension.
