Arsenal are now preparing for Champions League action after an eventful draw with London rivals Chelsea on Saturday evening. Mikel Arteta’s men came from two goals down to draw at Stamford Bridge, but they may well feel they dropped two points.

The Gunners have no time to dwell on that result, though, headed to the South of Spain to take on Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and it’s a crucial clash given the wide-open nature of the group. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Ramsdale claim

Out-of-favour Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale may be attracting interest, and from a surprise club. Ramsdale has been relegated to number two this season, with Mikel Arteta making the surprise decision to bring in David Raya on a loan-to-buy deal.

All eyes are now on Ramsdale who may push for a move to secure regular football in January, and Ben Jacobs has claimed Chelsea could be interested amid a wobbly start from Robert Sanchez. Though, with Kepa Arrizabalaga only out on loan to Real Madrid, it’s likely Chelsea will need to sell the Spaniard before investing big in another keeper.

Luiz ‘interest’

Arsenal are said to be interested in in-form Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. Luiz scored twice for Villa on Sunday to take his goal tally up to six for the season, and he is attracting interest from around Europe, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Romano wrote: “Douglas Luiz had another brilliant game for Aston Villa in their win over West Ham yesterday, and I can tell you that there are many top clubs monitoring the Brazilian midfielder.” He went on to add that Arsenal are one of the interested clubs, with the Gunners arguably needing another midfielder who can offer a little more going forward.
