Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta may have cooled rumours of a big month of Arsenal spending but it looks as if the Gunners will need to be active during the window to sustain a Premier League title push.
League leaders Liverpool humbled a toothless Gunners side at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup on Sunday night and three losses in their last five has seen a five-point gap open up between fourth-placed Arsenal and the Reds.
