Arsenal eyeing Bayer Leverkusen transfer amid intensifying focus on Alexander Isak

All the latest Arsenal transfer rumours as Mikel Arteta’s men gear up for a Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Bukayo Saka fired Arsenal back to winning ways in Premier League yesterday at Aston Villa.

“One nil to the Arsenal,” rang out from the travelling Gunners, as Mikel Arteta’s men strengthened their grip on fourth spot.

The Gunners bounced back from a defeat to Liverpool during the week, that saw a game in hand pass by without gaining any ground on the chasing pack in the race for top four.

In the meantime, the Gunners will be continuing to weigh up options for the summer behind the scenes, and here we round up all the latest rumours.

Diaby has been on fire this season

Diaby chase

Arsenal are said to be involved in a chase for Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby.

The 22-year-old winger has scored no fewer than 16 and assisted nine across all competitions so far this season, and unsurprisingly, that has seen him attract attention.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are now showing an interest ahead of a possible £50million move, though they could be rivalled by United.

Isak pursuit

Arsenal are said to be ‘in love’ with Real Sociedad frontman Alexander Isak.

According to Diario AS via SportWitness, the Gunners are fighting to land the Sweden international amid plenty of interest around Europe.

Isak has a release clause of around €90million (£75million). but it’s likely Real Sociedad would accept a lesser fee, albeit still a very high one.

Martinez race

Arsenal are also being linked with another in-demand striker in Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

According to Fichajes, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are eyeing a move for the Argentine, but Arsenal are also credited with an interest.

It’s clear the Gunners are on the lookout for a striker, and Martinez could be a suitable candidate, still only 24 and an impressive goalscorer with 51 goals in 126 Serie A appearances.
