In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Arsenal with January fast approaching.

Arteta talks transfers

Mikel Arteta has opened up on what Arsenal will be looking at in the upcoming January transfer window. It has been reported that the Gunners will only be signing one player in the winter, and Arteta has responded.

He said: “With the position that we are in right now, it demands as well another level of player. That player has to be available. We will look at everything and let’s see what we can do”.

It’s claimed the Gunners are searching for a winger as they look to add depth out wide, currently relying heavily upon Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Sako.

Crystal Palace star Wilfired Zaha is yet to decide whether he wants to leave the Eagles in January amid links with Arsenal.

Wilfried Zaha has not made any decision yet on his future,” Fabrizio Romano told CaughtOffside. “Crystal Palace have informed him of the intention to offer a new deal, but in this case it’s only up to Zaha and he has not decided yet. I think he could be an interesting solution for many big six clubs.”

Zaha has become a leader since returning to Palace, but he is now approaching his 30s and he will want to win silverware before he calls time on his career.
