Former Arsenal defender set to depart new club for 'healthy profit' just six months after leaving Brentford
Arsenal are yet to make a move during the January transfer window, as they aim to chase their first Premier League title since the 2003/04 season. They currently sit second in the table, six points off league leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners won 1-0 against Wolves in their last game, in which defender Myles Lewis-Skelly was controversially shown a red card after a challenge on defender Matt Doherty. Arsenal look set to appeal to decision, otherwise, he will face a three-match ban.

Former Arsenal and Brentford defender set for Serie A move
Hearts defender Daniel Oyegoke is subject to reports which have said that he is set for a move to Serie A side Hellas Verona, just six months after moving to Tynecastle in the summer transfer window.
According to the Edinburgh Evening News, Verona have agreed a ‘six-figure’ transfer fee with Hearts for the defender, who was a graduate of the Arsenal academy at the start of his career.
He joined Hearts from Premier League side Brentford in the summer transfer window on a free transfer after having several loan moves from Brentford to the likes of MK Dons and Bradford.

This season, he’s made 26 appearances for Hearts, including one goal. The report states that he is set to complete the move to Italy in the coming days.
Arsenal defender could follow Oyegoke in Serie A January move
The Gunners have been subject to transfer reports themselves this month, linking one of their defenders over a move to the Serie A before the transfer deadline, which is on Monday 3 February.
Defender Jakub Kiwior has been linked with a move back to the Serie A after he joined Arsenal in January 2023 for a fee of over £16m from Italian side Spezia. However, Mikel Arteta is keen to keep hold of the Poland international who he sees as a useful replacement for defender Gabriel.
The 24-year-old is reportedly wanted by seven Serie A sides including Napoli, AC Milan, Fiorentina and Bologna. Kiwior has made 15 appearances for the Gunners this season, contributing two assists which both came in the Carabao Cup. He was last seen starting in their 3-0 Champions League win against Dinamo Zagreb last week, replacing the injured William Saliba for the entire 90 minutes.
