Arsenal dealt transfer ‘blow’ and club’s stance on signing Bundesliga ace revealed

The latest Arsenal news and rumours on Friday.

Arsenal have an exciting young squad and their fans will be excited to see how they get on next season.

Mikel Arteta’s side will also be playing in Europe so have been busy in this transfer window adding more bodies into their squad.

Their main signing is arguably striker Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City and the Brazilian will be eager to hit the ground running immediately.

Here is a look at all the news coming out of the club today...

Arsenal in line for blow

Arsenal youngster Omari Hutchinson is reportedly set to switch to rivals Chelsea.

The teenager plays in midfield and is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

The Daily Mail report he has passed his medical ahead of his proposed switch to Stamford Bridge in a ‘blow’ to the Gunners.

Not in for Gnabry

Arteta’s side have apparently not been in the hunt to re-sign Serge Gnabry this summer.

The winger has been tentatively linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium from FC Bayern.

However, reporter Fabrizio Romano says they were ‘never’ an option and neither were Manchester City as the player pens a new deal with his current club:

Trusty heads out

Arsenal have given Austin Trusty the green light to head out the exit door on loan.

The defender only signed for the Premier League outfit earlier this summer from MLS outfit Colorado Rapids.

He has now linked up with Birmingham City in the Championship on a season-long loan to get some experience under his belt in this country.
