The Spaniard looks likely to move on with just one year remaining on his current contract and unlikely to sign another.

Not only will Asensio be available on a cut-price deal this summer, but according to TuttoMercatoWeb, the forward will also consider reducing his wage to secure a deal.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move this summer.

“Arsenal has submitted an official offer for 23 year old winger Edon Zhegrova,” Saliku said on Twitter.

“Player has impressed the english club this year at Lille, after moving from Basel in January for 7m euros. (£6.9m).”

The Sun claim, Arsenal have placed Nicolas Pepe, Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Pablo Mari, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson on the transfer list.

The Gunners spent £72million on Pepe in 2019, but it seems they are now willing to cut their losses after three disappointing years.
