There has certainly been progress, with the signings of Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fabio Vieira all completed.

But the Gunners are in need of a striker, and there will be other areas Arteta also wants to strengthen this summer.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Raphinha latest

Arsenal are indeed said to be interested in a deal for Leeds United winger Raphinha.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with an exit this summer, and Barcelona are said to have agreed personal terms, but without agreeing a fee with Leeds.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who also says Arsenal are in ‘direct contact’ with the Whites over a deal having been interested since March.

Jesus close

Arsenal are said to be close to completing a deal for Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus.

That’s according to Goal, with the report claiming a deal is close to being struck between the two clubs amid ongoing negotiations.

It’s added that Arsenal could be in a position to announce a deal within days, and that’s a huge boost.

Tierney interest

On the flipside, Manchester City are said to be weighing up a deal for Arsenal star Kieran Tierney.

According to The Scotsman, Tierney is being lined up as a possible alternative to Brighton full-back Marc Cucurella, who is going to be very pricey this summer.

Arsenal are not likely to be overly accomodating over Tierney, but the Scot has struggled with injury, so there may yet be a deal to be struck.
