Arsenal duo, new Chelsea signing and QPR loanee feature in list of world's most talented young stars

A number of London-based or soon to be London-based stars have popped up in Goal’s annual ranking of the best young players in world football. The list ranks the best players who were born on or after January 2006, and it takes no genius to predict that Barcelona and Spain superstar Lamine Yamal is number one.
But below that there are plenty of players who are currently with London clubs. Here we run you through the London-based or soon to be London-based players who are including in Goal’s NXGN top 50 for this year.

Hide Ad46. Luis Guilherme (West Ham)
Guilherme was signed by West Ham from Palmeiras on a long-term deal, and he has only made seven league appearances so far. But he is only 19 years of age, and he is recognised as a talent.
43. Yang Min-hyeok
Min-hyeok is yet to feature for the Tottenham first team in the Premier League, but he is currently on loan with QPR, making eight league appearances since moving in the January transfer window. He is still only 18.
38. Josh Acheampong (Chelsea)
Acheampong is recognised as a big talent by Chelsea, and he has already made four league appearances at the age of 18. The versatile full-back has a big future, and it will be interesting to see what the Blues do with him next season.
31. Marc Guiu (Chelsea)
Guiu looked as though he would have a big opportunity this season, but injury has changed things. Guiu is 19 years of age and he looks as though he can play at Premier League level, albeit he has only made three league appearances. He looked a force in pre-season and next season will be an intriguing one for him.

Hide Ad22. Mikey Moore (Tottenham)
Moore has nine league appearances for Spurs at just 17 years of age. He looks to be a huge talent with his pace and good feet out wide. Spurs have reason to be excited.
17. Lucas Bergvall (Tottenham)
Bergvall is another player Tottenham are excited about, and it looks to have been a very wise signing at just £8.5million. Bergvall has looked like Tottenham’s most dangerous player at times this season.
13. Archie Gray (Tottenham)
Gray is another of the wise young signings Tottenham have made, albeit for a much bigger fee. Gray is so versatile, and he has shown that this season, playing in defence and in midfield. He is Premier League quality at 18 years of age, and his potential is scary.
11. Geovany Quenda (Sporting CP)
Quenda currently plays for Sporting CP, but Chelsea have just agreed a deal to sign him. The 17-year-old has made 26 league appearances for Sporting this season, and he is a player the Blues will have on board from 2026 onwards.

Hide Ad8. Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal)
Fresh off the back of his first England call-up, Lewis-Skelly deservedly makes the list having been relied on heavily by Mikel Arteta this season. The 18-year-old looks set to be an Arsenal regular for years to come.
6. Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal)
Like Lewis-Skelly, Nwaneri has become an Arsenal regular. He is one of the Gunners’ main threats, especially in the absence of Bukayo Saka, and the sky is the limit for the versatile winger.
2. Estevao Willian (Palmeiras)
The 17-year-old Palmeiras star will join Chelsea when he turns 18 for a fee of around £30million which could increase by a further £20million if conditions are met. He has already made 16 league appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring 18 times, and he is already a senior Brazil international. Chelsea fans are already getting excited about this youngster’s potential.
