Real Betis, the club where he spent last season out on loan, tried to sign him but it is Barcelona who have secured his services after convincing him that he was the ideal right back manager Xavi was looking for.

Barcelona agreed to sell Sergino Dest to AC milan once they struck a deal with Bellerin who is desperate to resurrect his career having stumbled on challenges recently.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has built a robust team that has started the season on fire- with five wins and sitting top of the Premier League table. They have showed incredible strength to overcome the early challenges that the season has thrown at them.
