Arsenal away kit 22/23: what new Adidas strip looks like, where to buy it, and when will team wear it?

Arsenal have once again teamed up with world-famous brand Adidas and have released their new away kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

The kit was released on Monday , and was modelled by key stars such as Aaron Ramsdale, Buakyo Saka, Ben White, Martin Odegaard and more.

Following a trend set by some of the other Premier League clubs, the kit is fully made from recycled materials.

Arsenal fell short of the Champions League places in heartbreaking fashion as city rivals Tottenham Hotspur finished in fourth.

What does the new Arsenal kit look like?

Arsenal are known for their clean kit designs, but their new away strip is a far cry from their 2021/22 away jersey.

It’s a simplistic design which adds to the beauty, with the two colours, gold and black coming together, strongly complimenting each other to make one of the kits of the season.

There is also a faint design that runs consistent throughout the new kit, but is not so dominating that it takes away from the sponsor and more.

Another addition to the kit is the black collar that is pure black, and in a slightly darker shade than the kit, allowing it to stand out.

Long standing sponsor Emirates still remains. Emirates have been long-term sponsors of the north London club, with the famous slogan ‘Emirates Fly Better’ in the middle of the top, in gold.

The famous Gunner logo is also on the top left of the shirt (if you’re wearing it) and the adidas logo occupying the right hand side.

Where can I buy the new kit?

The away kit can be purchased now, and it is best to buy it on the official Arsenal website.

How much does the new away kit cost?

To buy it in men’s or women’s it will cost you £70, whereas the accompanying shorts, which are once again, black and gold will cost £35.

A long sleeve version of the kit is £75.

To get an authentic match day kit that Arsenal claim on their website is an ‘official match shirt’ costs £100.

A junior away shirt will set you back £50, whilst the shorts for a junior are £25.

Adult socks cost £20 whilst junior socks cost £15.

To purchase an away ‘mini kit’ which comes with a shirt, shorts and socks, it will cost £45.

When will Arsenal wear it?

It’s unknown when they will don the new jersey, but it is likely they will wear it during their next outing which is against US based team Orlando City, when they play them on Thursday, 21 July 2022.

The kick off time for that game is 12:30am UK time.

What are the other pre-season games for Arsenal?

After the Orlando game, Arsenal take on fellow Premier League side Chelsea in the Florida Cup final on Sunday, 24 July at 1am UK time, and then head back to England to play Sevilla in the Emirates Cup final at 12:30pm UK time.

That is the last pre-season game for the Gunners, just six days before they face Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener.
