We are now eight games into the 2023/24 Premier League season. We have seen some surprise packages and some unforeseen flops - but today, we’ll be focusing on the worst new additions to teams in England’s top division.
Players at teams such as Everton, Aston Villa and Burnley (who have four players in the ‘worst signing’ XI, more than any other team) all feature - but there are also a couple of players at Arsenal and Fulham who have crept into the team.
For reference, we will only be looking at players who signed for their respective clubs over the course of the 2023 summer transfer window - anyone who was snapped up before this will not be considered. Additionally, all player ratings have been taken from WhoScored.
