Arsenal legend and much-loved pundit Alex Scott was in attendance at the Emirates Stadium to watch the Gunners in Champions League action against FC Porto and famous girlfriend Jess Glynne came along to watch the victory too.

Mikel Arteta's men booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals on penalties against the Portuguese outfit as an impressive run of form in 2024 continues. Scott, who won five FA Women's Premier League titles at Arsenal, shared snaps from her evening on Instagram as she cheered 'come on the boys' before celebrating the winning penalty save from David Raya.

Before the match, Scott also gave a gift to pop star Glynne, assuring her Gunners allegiances with a personalised Arsenal shirt with 'Glynne' and number 24 on the back. The choice of digit remains somewhat of a mystery - the singer could be a huge fan of number 24 stars Reiss Nelson or Cloe Lacasse, a reference to the year of 2024 or even the age Glynne was when releasing breakthrough track 'Rather Be'.

The 'Hold My Hand' star looked chuffed as she insisted on donning the shirt right away, but Scott didn't have her work cut out convincing the star to support her former side. The pop star featured in a video shared by the club in 2015 as she took a tour of the Emirates Stadium and professed her love for the club.

At the time, she said: "My dad just got me into being a massive Arsenal fan. Since I was a kid, me and my sister got taken to games and he always had a season ticket. I still have one. Childhood memories of Highbury and then coming here.

"My dad's dad was a massive Arsenal fan and they used to go to Highbury. He carried it on with me and my sister. My favourite moments were when Henry and Bergkamp played for the team. They were my favourite days."

Scott and Glynne made their relationship public earlier last year after much speculation that the duo were loved up. They had been spotted together taking in the tennis at Wimbledon last summer and at a Netflix event in October.

A source previously told The Sun: "Alex and Jess have been a slow burn and they didn’t want to rush things or go public too soon. But they’re officially an item now and seem really happy. They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect of their respective careers, supporting one another from the sidelines."
