Arsenal are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table and have their supporters dreaming of the title. They boosted their chances by beating rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 over the weekend.
2nd place Manchester City were beaten 2-1 away at Manchester United. Mikel Arteta’s side have lost just once in 18 league games this term and are flying high at the summit.
Despite their impressive performances on the pitch, the Gunners have been dealt a couple of transfer blows this month and have lost out on signing Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea. Nevertheless, they still have time before the end of the window to bring in some reinforcements ahead of the second-half of the season.
Here is a look at four players they could land over the next couple of weeks based on the various transfer rumours, and six that probably won’t be on their way to Arsenal...
1. COULD SIGN: Leandro Trossard, Brighton
The winger is facing an uncertain future at Brighton and his name has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal over the past day or so.
2. COULD SIGN: Ivan Fresneda, Real Valladolid
