A look into the January transfer window for Arsenal as they chase down the Premier League title

Arsenal’s draw 0-0 at home to Newcastle United last time out highlighted the need for more competition and depth in attacking areas. The Gunners lacked that cutting edge up top and were forced to settle for a point in the end.

Eddie Nketiah has been doing a good job as he continues to cover for the injured Gabriel Jesus, but there is no doubt that he could do with some help. Mikel Arteta’s side have the chance to bolster their ranks ahead of the second-half of the season with the January transfer window now open.

Jesus has suffered ligament damage but no longer requires crutches, as per the Evening Standard. However, the club hasn’t put an exact timeframe on his absence.
