Rob Holding continues at centre back alongside Gabriel and will be hoping to nullify the hosts attacking threat, with Mohamed Salah passed fit for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

In midfield, Thomas Partey starts next to Granit Xhaka, whilst the front line consists of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.

Arteta has also named a strong bench, with Leandro Trossard, Emile Smith Rowe, and Reiss Nelson among the options available to come on when needed.

It promises to be an enthralling encounter between two of the Premier League’s most historic clubs, with kick off at 16:30 (BST).

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

Subs: Turney, Tierney, Walters, Kiwior, Jorginho, Smith Rowe, Vieira, Nelson, Trossard.
