The England international was absent for the Gunners’ previous Premier League clash with Manchester City, but has been passed for the game at Stamford Bridge.

Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli also feature in the three-pronged attack, while Jorginho is handed a start against his former club.

Thomas Partey is named among the substitutes alongside Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nketiah.
