Bukayo Saka is named on the substitutes bench for Arsenal’s match against Leeds.

It means Saka, who has been unwell this week, doesn’t start a Premier League game for the first time since the 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in December 2021.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has drafted Rob Holding into the team with William Saliba out injured, while Thomas Partey is deemed fit enough to start in midfield.

Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli support the returning Gabriel Jesus upfront, with the likes of Saka, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe on the bench.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey; Trossard, Odegaard, Xhaka, Martinelli; Jesus.

Subs: Turney, Tierney, Walters, Kiwior, Jorginho, Smith Rowe, Vieira, Nelson, Saka.
