Ben White - Looked comfortable throughout the game and was solid defensively. Also played a key role in building up Arsenal’s attacks from the back. 7.

Jakub Kiwior - The youngster looked composed in defence and made some important clearances. Showed great potential and awareness. 7.

Gabriel - A solid performance from the Brazilian defender who looked comfortable in defense and helped keep Newcastle’s attackers at bay. 7.

Oleksandr Zinchenko - Was replaced by Kieran Tierney in the second half as he began to look tired. 6.

Jorginho - Played a key role in controlling the midfield, breaking up Newcastle’s attacks and distributing the ball well. 7.

Granit Xhaka - Made an excellent last-ditch tackle in the second half to prevent a Newcastle goal. Was solid throughout the game and played an important role in keeping Arsenal’s midfield ticking. 7.

Martin Odegaard - Scored the opening goal with a well-placed shot and was a constant threat to Newcastle’s defense with his clever movement and passing. 7.

Bukayo Saka - Was lively throughout the game and caused problems for the Newcastle defence with his dribbling. 7.

Gabriel Martinelli - Was involved in the second goal, with his hard work and determination leading to an own goal from Newcastle. Showed great energy and work rate throughout the game. 8.
