Arsenal legend provides important Bukayo Saka injury update ahead of Liverpool clash
Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has offered an update on Bukayo Saka's fitness ahead of the Gunners' crucial Premier League showdown with Liverpool on Sunday.
Saka has been instrumental for Arsenal this season, scoring twice and providing seven assists in just seven Premier League appearances. However, a hamstring injury has sidelined the 23-year-old for Arsenal's last two matches, against Bournemouth and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Speaking on his Seaman Says podcast, sponsored by Betway, the legendary ex-Gunners keeper shared some optimism after seeing Saka step up his recovery.
"I'm a little bit nervy, if I'm honest, because we're not going to be at our strongest, depending on Saka," Seaman said.
"But when I was at Arsenal last Thursday, coaching the young goalies, I saw Bukayo with his boots on, and I thought, 'That's a good sign.' He wasn't in trainers or anything like that. He was going off to do some one-to-one rehab, so hopefully, it's not too bad."

Arteta’s side will, however, be without William Saliba, who is suspended for the Liverpool match. Seaman admitted that Saliba’s absence is a significant loss but remains confident in the squad's depth.
“The only certainty is that Saliba is out with suspension, and that’s a big blow," Seaman said.
"But these are the games that show you how good you are, or how good you're going to be. I’m not too worried, though—we’ve got strength on the bench.
“It’s about getting a result, grinding out wins even when you're not at your best.”
