Arsenal injury news vs Manchester United with one major doubt and Jurrien Timber update

The Gunners have two league games remaining against United and Everton, with Manchester City on course to win the title once again if win the rest of their games against Fulham, West Ham and Tottenham.

Bukayo Saka is expected to be fit for the game despite being spotted wearing protective strapping over his shin in training on Tuesday, while Takehiro Tomiyasu was the only absentee in training so far this week.

Jurrien Timber could be named in the squad after he successfully completed two matches for Arsenal Under-21s.

Gunners boss Arteta is expected to name a relatively unchanged team from the side that beat Bournemouth on Saturday, with Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice making up the three-man midfield.

Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are likely to feature in a three-pronged attack, with a number of options for Arteta to choose from on the substitutes bench.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are hopeful of having Bruno Fernandes available for Sunday's game. Erik ten Hag's side lost 4-0 against Crystal Palace in midweek where they were missing a number of key first team players.
