Arsenal dealt injury blow as England international is set for lengthy spell on sidelines
The England international won’t be available for the Gunners over the next few weeks.
Arsenal defender Ben White is expected to be on the sidelines for at least six weeks after undergoing knee surgery, LondonWorld understands.

27-year-old White has been managing a knee issue for several months and a decision was made during the international break to undergo surgery.
White was absent for games against Leicester, Southampton, PSG and Bolton with a knee problem, with Jurrien Timber able to cover him in the role.
“Ben [White] didn't make it to start because he only had half a session yesterday so it’s the third time. It’s a little issue so we have to protect him,” said Arteta after the 1-0 defeat against Newcastle.
It’s now understood White faces a minimum of six weeks on the sidelines, with some suggestion that the defender could be out for a considerably longer timeframe.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are likely to welcome back Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu after the international break.
