Albert Sambi Lokonga set to leave Arsenal ahead of summer departures at club
Albert Sambi Lokonga is set to leave Arsenal this summer after talks with sporting director Edu, LondonWorld understands.
The 24-year-old is considered surplus to requirements at Arsenal due to the abundance of talent in midfield, with both club and player privately agreeing that it is best for the ex-Anderlecht man to move on.

“The love I have received has been amazing, it’s been unbelievable and I’ve never seen this kind of support,” Lokonga told BBC Three Counties Radio.
“For me, I had a discussion with Arsenal and the conclusion was the best thing for me was to leave the club.
“Now it’s up to my agent and the club to find something. I still have a contract there, one year plus a one-year option so let’s see what happens.”

Meanwhile, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is expected to sanction the sale of forward Eddie Nketiah this summer.
